The location was incredible - just off the subway, and downtown Oak Park and lovely neighborhoods. It's approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Geppetto's Pasta & Pizza, ate there once or twice.

The hotel has a great location in Oak Park, near bars, restaurants, and the downtown area. The breakfast provided is excellent with a variety of food choices.

Quirky and clean hotel, the staff who served us were superbly friendly, and it had MARVELLOUS location near all the nice resaurants. Appreciated the room for comfy chair or even a lamp on both sides of the bed, our bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The rooms were budget-friendly and reasonably spacious. They had private bathrooms, which was great. It was convenient to have a safe, multi-channel television, and coffee/tea making machines available during my stay.

Visited Oak Park for the beautiful architecture and stayed at Write Inn Hotel. The location was perfect, with Hemingway's house and Frank Lloyd Wright buildings nearby. The historic ambiance of the hotel was impressive, and the staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. The on-site restaurant exceeded expectations, with top-notch service and scrumptious food. The room provided ample counter space, a coffee maker, fridge, sink, and cupboards. Complimentary microwave and fridge in the room were a bonus. The rooms were always cleaned promptly, despite our late starts. The hotel also offered easy access to validated free local parking and the nearby Green Line train station.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood just outside of downtown. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. Parking was convenient and easily accessible. Transportation to downtown was a breeze with the nearby train station. a great hotel in a great location.

a charming stay in oak park, write inn exceeded expectations with its central location and helpful staff. perfect for exploring the village atmosphere and nearby f. lloyd wright residences. a cozy, olde-worlde vibe, and the strong shower was a pleasant surprise. we'll be back soon!

The hotel is set in a lovely area close to Oak Park and Chicago. The location is awesome and super convenient. There are major attractions in Oak Park within reach. A historic house is at a moderate distance from the hotel.

My room was nicely updated and complete with a microwave and a huge shower. the breakfast spread was great with lots of fantastic options. - the staff, everyone, was super-friendly and amicable. - the location of the hotel was close enough to the center of town and really close to bars and the famous Oak Park.

Good location for family visit, food excellent, room clean, check-in staff friendly and helpful, enjoyed seeing a dog on premises.

I had an excellent stay at The Write Inn Hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located next to an associated restaurant, as well as the city center of Chicago, Oak Park, and River Forest. There is a great sushi restaurant, Sagano Sushi, near the property.
