Great and excellent breakfast with a great selection of delicacies and outstandingly accommodating staff. The rooms with comfy chair, a bathroom. Incredible location in Oak park. Also - very close to lovely neighborhoods, library and the associated restaurant.

Units for phones. The location was incredible - just off the subway, and downtown Oak Park and lovely neighborhoods. And it's approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Geppetto's Pasta & Pizza, ate there once or twice.

Loved our rooms for phones. The location was favourable, not too far away from Ernest Hemingway Birthplace. Visited few places in the center, just a short walk away from the hotel.
Though everything was fine, some of the staff were not pleasant.

Visited Oak Park for the beautiful architecture and stayed at Write Inn Hotel. The location was perfect, with Hemingway's house and Frank Lloyd Wright buildings nearby. The historic ambiance of the hotel was impressive, and the staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. The on-site restaurant exceeded expectations, with top-notch service and scrumptious food. The room provided ample counter space, a coffee maker, fridge, sink, and cupboards. Complimentary microwave and fridge in the room were a bonus. The rooms were always cleaned promptly, despite our late starts. The hotel also offered easy access to validated free local parking and the nearby Green Line train station.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Location, Location,Location!!! Check-in/concierge person was very pleasant. Breakfast at the restaurant was more than adequate. Pleasant server. Awful croissant but otherwise good breakfast.
My room and bathroom were a little shabby.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood just outside of downtown. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. Parking was convenient and easily accessible. Transportation to downtown was a breeze with the nearby train station. a great hotel in a great location.

room layout was not optimum for bag placement. TV was very limited channels. not enough pillows.

Excellent parking arrangements...free at nearby garage. Wi-fi free. Located near the Green Line for easy transportation into the city. Close to good restaurants, shopping and Frank Lloyd Wright studio, homes and Unity Temple. Excellent restaurant attached to the hotel where we ate breakfast, which is well-prepared.
We have stayed here many times, but this is the first time I had a bed so lacking in support that I removed all the bedclothes from the bed and tried to sleep on the floor...not a perfect solution, but I slept better there than I had in the bed. We requested a rollaway for the remaining nights of our stay, and I removed the mattress from that and placed it on the floor...then I was able to get two good nights' sleep. If the mattresses on our beds are indicative of new purchases throughout the hotel, we won't be staying there again.
